I wanted a live hands on experience with specific detailed training on the overlay design, with the Alleman BRD influence. This course delivered all that, and then some! Steve’s presentations were packed with evidence based, well organized knowledge that he explained superbly. Both days had a great blend of instruction and prep time complete with loupe assisted prep critiques by Steve and other mentors. Trying out a 3D scope, electric handpiece, the venue, meeting other Dentists in the BRD network and Saturday night at the range made it a well rounded, very educational and enjoyable weekend!

Steve’s course was an incredible source of info and protocols which have changed the way I practice dentistry. He presents adhesive dentistry in a straightforward, scientifically-driven manner which can be implemented immediately when you return to your office. I really enjoyed the opportunity to interact with Steve and the incredible mentors before, during, and after the course – truly first-class clinicians, and educators who are passionate about BRD!

I have been learning a bit about Biomimetic Dentistry from Steve through his online platform, and was excited to see what the hands-on course was all about. I learned a lot of information over the two day course, and it really helped boost my confidence to the point where I felt I could use techniques and improve my dentistry day one, once back in the office. The whole team at Baard was helpful and approachable, and the course had a great mix of lecture, Q and A, and hands-on time. It was nice to learn much more about biomimetics, and feel more comfortable with prep design and instrumentation. The small class size made it feel like you had access to as much one-on-one time as you needed, and I would definitely recommend to dental colleagues to check out Baard in the future!

Study & scientific based dentistry that is NOT your grandparents’ dentistry. We must all do the very best we can for our patients, and this is it! Informative, welcoming, supportive instructor/support team/course….oh, and, also entertaining, not boring! Steven, along with his colleagues, are not only the future of dentistry…he is the NOW of dentistry. Don’t snooze on learning from him…you, and your patients, will regret it.

Dr. Schiffenhaus is a great lecturer and gives helpful feedback during the hands on portion. I’m not the best at paying attention during an evidence based lecture, but he kept us engaged and provided good analogies to help us retain the information. Most of all, I appreciated the cases he showed us from his office and how he was humble enough to show us some of his mistakes too and how he applied the principles from the lecture to achieve the best results. I’ll be coming back to learn more!
