The BAARD Institute Overlay & Onlay Preparation Block (BI21)
This is the block used for the Overlay & Onlay Course. This block contains all the burs you need to execute the BAARD Overlay & Onlay Prep Protocol Monday Morning. It is a more slimmed down and economical block compared to the comprehensive block with just the essentials to execute this protocol. Precise occlusal reduction with the 2.0MM depth stop bur. Coarse round diamonds for proximal reduction and defect removal – cutting width of burs labeled on block for accuracy & precise measurements. Flat rounded shoulder burs to aid occlusal reduction, smoothing of broad surfaces, and/or when a longer & narrower cutting is required. Corresponding fine diamonds for smooth and crisp finishes as well as final caries removal. End cutting only burs for smooth crisp finish lines and to remove J-margins. Last, fine finishing burs – large football for bevels and occlusal finishing – flame bur for tight spaces.
