Course Summary
This course is a comprehensive hands-on workshop to enable doctors to execute Advanced Adhesive Techniques for Indirect Biomimetic Restorations. Doctors will learn fundamentals of Rubber Dam Isolation as well as hands on demos and practice. Doctors will then learn fundamentals of biomimetic reconstruction of heavily damaged teeth with stress reduced composite placement techniques as well as use of fiber reinforced composites. Day 1 will conclude with hands on demos and practice of Stress Reduced Biobase Construction & Fiber Reinforced Composites.
Day 2 will start with lectures on the fundamentals and techniques for Deep Margin Elevation. Dr. Schiffenhaus will then provide hands on demos for various Deep Margin Elevation techniques followed by student practice. To complete Day 2, students will receive lectures on Advanced Adhesive Luting procedures for indirect restorations with Immediate Dentin Sealing & Biomimetic Biobases including Warm Composite Cementation. Dr. Schiffenhaus will provide hands on demos followed by student practice to end the day.
